A quickie.....project ;)

I wanted to make a quick post for a pillow I just made to go on my bed. I had some muslin so I made a pillow out of it and used some acrylic craft paint to add stripes and my initials. It is simple and it was easy. I hope to make some more, just need to get more fabric. I think they could be a good gift idea..add your friends initials to them and voila a personalized pillow! My bedroom will be undergoing a makeover soon....it's a slow process but it will be happening. Stay tuned for more on that!

Hope Ya'll have a fabulously fun weekend!

  9. That's a cute idea! I've done something similar on burlap before. Personalizing linens is always a great idea for sprucing up your home. I look forward to seeing your bedroom makeover.

  10. OMG Rachel Your pillow is soooo stinkin cute. I am drooling. It is a lot less expensive than buying an actual grainsack! I wish I could sew because that would be perfect when I start our bedroom makeover!

  11. Thanks so much Michele! I know those grains sacks get pricey...I have some saved in my ebay cart but I am having a hard time bringing myself to buying them. You could try making the pillows with the no sew glue stuff. I have seen some people do that.

Thanks a lot Debbie and Kelly :) I hope to get that bedroom done soon. Having a hard time finding the right furniture pieces.
