Small fall changes

I said I would probably end up changing some stuff in my fall decor...and I did. I was in Walmart today and saw some really nice flower bushels for $5.00. I love fresh flowers so I picked some up and decided to use them with my new glass jar from the flea market. I like this arrangement much better for the dinning room table....what do you think? Which one looks better?

I used a scrap piece of muslin fabric I had to place it all on.

I LOVE sunflowers...my favorite!  Not bad for $5.00

My dinning room from the back door. It's an open kitchen dinning area.

I made this little arrangement with the old apple picking crate I got. I think this will find it's way outside soon.

This is a small arrangement I made on the kitchen counter. I filled my ironstone tureen with some pine cones and acorns. I put out my sunflower plate and a ceramic pumpkin.

We'll see if I change anything else later on...I'll let ya know if I do!

  3. Hi Rachel,
I like the changes! The Sunflowers are a wonderful pop of yellow. Your apple crate is such a fun universal piece. You asked about my spiders on my pumpkins. It is a meshy garland I bought 4 or 5 years ago at Interior Elements. All of the Utah stores have gone out of business. Have a nice day tomorrow.

  7. Hi Rachel,
We didn't add the knobs. After we moved in maintenance came through adding them to everyone's kitchens. Our homes are or were brand new 4 years ago. The only room we have painted is my daughter's room.
I'm too scared to paint now, I just know if I do it we'll get orders. LOL

    Have a good night!

  9. Those flowers are so pretty and you did a great job arranging them. I love sunflowers, my Dad was in the army for 20 years, we travelled the world, I have 4 kids, I love the fall, I love red...do you know anyone who has these things in common? lol I came through your comment and read your profile and the only difference is I DO like to wear red lol. So glad you found me so that I could find you! Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment on my bench swing. I am following you now too.

  19. @ Michele, That's nice that they added them. I wish I could add some. I know what you mean, the longer we live here the more hesitant I feel about painting anything else. That's nice that your homes are pretty new and they are made of brick. Ours are new but they are siding. I really like brick!
